Healing the Heart, Equipping the Man

Providing mental health support, trauma awareness and community engagement.

A Message from Our CEO

Welcome to The Nehemiah Community Project.

At Nehemiah, we believe that healing and hope are not just possibilities—they are birthrights. Our mission is rooted in the unwavering belief that every individual, no matter their history or circumstance, deserves the opportunity to rebuild, reconnect, and rise.

When I founded this organization, I was driven by a vision to create a safe and supportive space for individuals navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and systemic barriers. Today, that vision has grown into a dynamic community offering transformative programs like En-Game, T.A.C.T., and MindKind—each one designed to empower individuals and families on their journey toward healing.

We don’t just serve—we walk alongside our community members. Whether it’s through a support circle, mentorship program, or wellness workshop, our goal is to restore dignity, build resilience, and foster connection.

I am so proud of the work we are doing and the lives we’re impacting every day. I invite you to learn more, get involved, and join us in creating a future where healing is accessible, and every story is met with compassion.

With gratitude,
Chris Chambliss
